Retail 1 vendors

Sector hardware with specific compliance requirements (PCI-PTS, BAIT) — ATM cash machines, retail POS and branch datacenters. Diebold Nixdorf as market leader in the DACH banking sector.

Vendor not in the list?

On request we also maintain Inspur, Infinidat, Tintri, Western Digital, NEC, older Sun or Compaq hardware as well as specialised HPC clusters and many further platforms. Send us your inventory list — we'll assess serviceability per system (parts availability, engineer skills, spare hub distance) and deliver a coverage statement within 48 hours.

FAQ on vendor coverage

Can we bundle all vendors in one contract?
Yes — this is the core economic benefit of multi-vendor TPM. Instead of four or five separate OEM contracts with different terms, service desks and SLAs you get one unified TechCare contract across all 28 vendors. For vendors with multiple product lines a single contract automatically covers all lines — Dell means PowerEdge plus Dell EMC plus Dell Networking, HPE means ProLiant plus 3PAR plus Aruba plus StoreEver. One service desk, one invoice, one contact — typically 30–50 % consolidation savings just from eliminating parallel minimum spends.
Will I find information on my specific model — or only general vendor information?
For the major datacenter vendors (Dell, HPE, IBM, Lenovo, Cisco, NetApp, Fujitsu, Oracle) we offer two levels of detail: a vendor overview covering all product lines under one contract, plus separate detail pages per product line — Dell PowerEdge, Dell EMC Storage and Dell Networking, for example. The detail pages list exact EOSL dates per generation, common failure modes and migration paths. The overview is the right starting point for initial research or a purchasing decision; for operational fleet planning you switch to the per-line detail page.
Which further vendors do you cover?
We service hardware from 20 further vendors, each with its own vendor page and the full SLA spectrum (parts only up to 24/7/4): APC, Arista, Brocade, Check Point, Diebold Nixdorf, Eaton, Extreme Networks, F5, Fortinet, Hitachi, Huawei, Juniper, Nutanix, NVIDIA, Palo Alto Networks, Pure Storage, Quantum, Supermicro, Veritas and Vertiv. Since many of these vendors are specialised on one product category (Pure Storage = storage only, Arista = switching, Veritas = backup appliances), the vendor overview is sufficient for most environments. If you need additional model-level information, get in touch — we will provide EOSL data and service conditions for your specific devices.
Are older generations (EOSL) also covered?
Yes — EOSL is in fact one of our most economically attractive use cases. When the OEM discontinues service you typically save 50–70 % with TechCare versus expensive OEM extended-service tariffs — with full serviceability via original parts from our own hubs, decommissioned systems and certified refurbishers. Typical long-EOSL platforms: HPE ProLiant Gen8/Gen9, Dell PowerEdge R720/R730, Cisco Catalyst 3850, NetApp FAS80x0, IBM Power7+, Sun SPARC T4, EMC VNX/VMAX 100K-400K. Also Wincor-Nixdorf datacenter hardware (now Diebold) and older Compellent storage are covered.
How does the contract work for heterogeneous environments?
Heterogeneity is the standard case in midmarket — single-vendor datacenters are rare. During the TPM audit we automatically group your environment by vendor, serviceability, SLA needs and EOSL status; the outcome is an SLA matrix with per-system recommendation. Heterogeneous environments are often even more lucrative than homogeneous ones because consolidation savings multiply across more contracts. Example midmarket inventory: HPE ProLiant + Cisco Catalyst + NetApp FAS + APC UPS + Veritas NetBackup = 5 OEM contracts with 5 minimum spends — with TechCare one single contract with one SLA matrix.
Which compliance standards are covered in our industry?
Banking & insurance: BAIT, MaRisk, VAIT, EU DORA. Energy/utilities/critical infrastructure: BSI-IT-SiG, KRITIS-V. Healthcare: KHZG, B3S hospital. General: ISO 27001, GDPR, NIS2, TISAX (automotive). On request we provide evidence of spare-parts chain of custody, engineer certifications, data carrier destruction per BSI/DoD, background checks for on-site engineers in regulated environments. For ATM cash machines (Diebold) additionally PCI-PTS, for healthcare hardware HIPAA-comparable data flows.
