Why Vertiv maintenance via TechCare instead of Vertiv Service / LIFE Services
Vertiv (formerly Emerson Network Power before 2016) is widely deployed in the European market under the 'Liebert' branding — historically in banks, insurers, industrial sites and telecom nodes. Liebert NX and Hipulse platforms are 15-20 years old in many DACH sites and still running.
We service all Liebert/Vertiv generations with OEM original parts — power modules, inverter cards, control electronics, bypass switches, fans. On modular platforms (APM, EXM, EXL S1) module swaps are well-planned. Vertiv LIFE Services as cloud telemetry remains separate.
UPS-specific TPM topics: battery pack diagnostics + planned replacement after capacity test (no reactive approach), bypass switch procedure before every module swap for zero downtime, and PFC/inverter module service without OEM lock-in. Battery recycling compliant with German DGUV standards.
