Diebold Nixdorf Maintenance — vendor-independent service for ATM, retail and data center hardware
We service Diebold Nixdorf hardware after manufacturer service expiration — ATMs of the CS and ProCash family, retail hardware from the BEETLE, TPiD and BA93/96 portfolio, and data center hardware from the former Wincor Nixdorf inventory. In the DACH market Diebold Nixdorf is historically dominant in banking (via the Wincor Nixdorf heritage) and retail. For ATM hardware regulatory frameworks apply — we review each individual case before contract signing. Typical TPM topics at the ATM layer: PCI-DSS / BSI / BaFin compliance on hardware replacements, cash-handling module service (banknote recognition, recycling), and field-engineer on-site service at bank branches.

How does TPM compare to the OEM contract?
Example Diebold Nixdorf CS 5550 ATM with 4-year DN service contract: EUR 2,500–3,900/year OEM, EUR 1,600–1,700/year with TechCare TPM.
- EOSL hardware: On EOSL ATMs (pre-2018 Opteva 7xx generation, Wincor-heritage ProCash) 40–65 % savings vs. DN Field Service — DN ServiceNet EOSL partly exceeds 20 % of list price per year.
- Multi-year contract: 3-year TPM contract: additional 5–10 % discount, 5-year contract: 10–15 %. Plus fixed-price lock against OEM list-price increases.
- DN Vynamic software licenses + updates
- DN compliance updates (PCI-DSS / EMV)
- Diebold TAC software tickets + ATM application stack
- Hardware defects (memory, disk, PSU, mainboard, modules)
- 24×7×4 on-site SLA with German-speaking field service
- Spare-parts logistics DACH + global hub network
- Fixed-price contract in 48 h, one inventory — one contract
Why Diebold Nixdorf maintenance via TechCare instead of Diebold Nixdorf Service / DN Field Service
Diebold Nixdorf is mainly present in the DACH banking and retail sector — through the Wincor Nixdorf heritage (2016 merger) the brand is represented in almost every German bank counter and many large retail chains. For ATM hardware the regulatory situation is complex: cash-handling equipment is subject to industry-specific certification requirements (PCI DSS, EBA Guidelines, BAFIN-relevant requirements) and the Bundesbank provides specifications for cash quality.
We service hardware components with OEM original parts. For ATMs we review each individual case before contract signing: which components are regulatorily certified? Which may be replaced without manufacturer certification? This clarification is part of the honest preliminary review. For retail hardware (BEETLE, TPiD, BA93/96) the regulatory requirements are lower.
ATM/self-service-specific TPM topics: cash recycler diagnostics with banknote spec databases, EPP tamper detection maintenance (PCI PIN requirements), and component replacement with EAL4 certification audit trail for BSI compliance.
