Supermicro Maintenance — vendor-independent service for SuperServer, Storage and GPU platforms
We service Supermicro servers after factory warranty and Supermicro Support expiration — vendor-independent, with OEM original parts and SLA up to 24×7×4. From EOSL X9/X10 fleets to current X13 generation. SuperServer, Storage Server, GPU SuperServer, BigTwin, FatTwin. Often also sold under OEM branding — we service all brandings. 30 to 60 percent below Supermicro list price. Typical TPM topics at the compute layer: BMC/iLO/iDRAC firmware updates without OEM login (lockout risk after contract end), DIMM failures as the most frequent server defect, and BIOS CPU microcode patches for Spectre/Meltdown-class vulnerabilities.

How does TPM compare to the OEM contract?
Example Supermicro AS-2024US-TNR with 4-year Onsite Service: EUR 800–1,200/year OEM, EUR 500–550/year with TechCare TPM.
- EOSL hardware: On EOSL hardware (older X9/X10/X11 mainboards, older SuperBlade generations) 40–60 % savings vs. Onsite Service — Supermicro warranty typically 3 years, then TPM or nothing.
- Multi-year contract: 3-year TPM contract: additional 5–10 % discount, 5-year contract: 10–15 %. Plus fixed-price lock against OEM list-price increases.
- Supermicro Server Manager (SSM) licenses
- Supermicro IPMI / SuperCloud subscription
- Supermicro TAC software tickets
- Hardware defects (memory, disk, PSU, mainboard, modules)
- 24×7×4 on-site SLA with German-speaking field service
- Spare-parts logistics DACH + global hub network
- Fixed-price contract in 48 h, one inventory — one contract
Why Supermicro maintenance via TechCare instead of Supermicro Support / Onsite Service
Supermicro has a special DACH role — many hyperscalers, cloud providers, universities and research data centers use Supermicro for its configuration flexibility and lower acquisition prices. Supermicro Support is cheaper compared to HPE or Dell, but renewal becomes difficult on older X9/X10/X11 fleets because Supermicro keeps support lifecycles relatively short.
We service all Supermicro generations with OEM original parts — mainboards (X9/X10/X11/X12/X13), DDR3/DDR4/DDR5 RAM, PSUs, storage backplanes, GPU risers, NVMe carriers. Also Supermicro hardware sold under OEM branding (e.g. white-label for cloud providers). Most common failure points are PSUs, fans and SAS backplanes — we stock standard parts broadly.
Compute-specific TPM topics: BMC/iLO/iDRAC firmware updates without OEM subscription, DIMM failure diagnostics (the most common server defect after PSU), and BIOS CPU microcode patches for Spectre-/Meltdown-class vulnerabilities — also post-EoSL via mirror repositories.
