Why TPM maintenance instead of Fujitsu Solution Contract / Service Pack

Fujitsu has a particularly strong position in the German-speaking mid-market and public sector — many customers have built up PRIMERGY footprints over years, often with public sector contracts. For EOSL models like RX2540 M1/M2 or BX900 S2, Fujitsu renewals are either no longer offered or cost disproportionately, even though the hardware still runs flawlessly.

We service all PRIMERGY generations with OEM original parts, German-speaking engineers and SLA up to 24×7×4. ServerView and iRMC remain fully usable. On request we also cover the mission-critical PRIMEQUEST segment.

EOSL status of major generations

For PRIMERGY we see 30 to 60 percent savings vs. Fujitsu Solution Contract / Service Pack, up to 70 percent on EOSL models. A RX2540 M4 with 24×7×4 contract costs 1,500 to 2,200 EUR/year with Fujitsu, 600 to 1,000 EUR with TechCare.
Can you service older PRIMERGY generations — RX2540 M1/M2, BX900?
Yes, this is one of our DACH focus areas. RX2540 M1/M2 (released 2014/2016, EOSL 2022/2023) and BX900 S2 (EOSL 2022) are still productive in many mid-market environments. We stock DDR4 RAM, RAID controllers, HDDs/SSDs and PSUs for these generations.
Which SLA levels do you offer for PRIMERGY?
Parts Only with 4-hour shipping, 5×9 NBD and 24×7×4 — all freely selectable per server. German-speaking engineers, nationwide including rural regions with guaranteed 4-hour response.
Do ServerView and iRMC still work?
Yes. Both remain fully usable. iRMC is a hardware component. ServerView Suite runs as separate software, firmware updates for iRMC and BIOS remain freely accessible via the Fujitsu support portal.
Do we lose the warranty?
No. Factory warranty and Solution Contract are contractual. After factory warranty you are free to choose any maintenance partner.
How fast do we get a quote?
Within 48 hours after receiving your PRIMERGY inventory list with model and serial number.
Does this also apply to ETERNUS Storage?
Yes. ETERNUS DX (DX60 to DX8000), AF (AF150/250/650 all-flash), JX (JBOD) and LT (tape library) we service fully. Same SLA options as for servers.
