Aruba maintenance via HPE Foundation Care becomes disproportionately expensive on older ProCurve fleets and Aruba 2530/2540/2920 generation. These switches are deployed in DACH schools, public authorities and mid-market — and work flawlessly. Refresh pressure comes from maintenance pricing, not hardware necessity.

EOSL status of major generations

Once the vendor ends official support, renewals become unavailable or disproportionately expensive. TPM closes exactly this gap — same hardware coverage, same SLA, significantly cheaper.

Which HPE Aruba hardware do you service?
Aruba CX, Aruba Switching, ProCurve, Wireless APs, Mobility Conductor and Master, Gateways and EdgeConnect SD-WAN.
What does TPM cost compared to Aruba Care?
30 to 60 percent savings, up to 70 percent on EOSL ProCurve and Aruba 2530/2540. An Aruba 2930F-48G with 24×7×4 costs 600–900 EUR/year with HPE, 250–400 EUR with TechCare.
Can you service EOSL ProCurve switches?
Yes. ProCurve 2510/2610/2810 (EOSL 2017–2019), 3500/5400/6200/8200 (EOSL 2020–2022) still productive in DACH schools, public sector and mid-market.
What about Aruba Central?
Aruba Central runs as cloud subscription separately. Active users keep it. With local management (Mobility Conductor on-prem) Aruba Central isn't needed.
Which SLA levels for networking?
Parts Only, 5×9 NBD, 24×7×4. For core switches we recommend 24×7×4. For edge switches 5×9 NBD suffices.
Does ArubaOS-Switch and ArubaOS-CX still work?
Yes. Both are part of the hardware. Code updates have limited access without contract — usually no issue.
Do we lose the warranty?
No. Factory warranty and Aruba Care are contractual.
Does this apply to Wireless APs and EdgeConnect?
Yes. Wireless APs at hardware level. Mobility Gateways and EdgeConnect SD-WAN too.
