ExtremeWireless Maintenance — vendor-independent service for AP3xxx, AP4xxx and AP5xxx
We service ExtremeWireless access points after factory warranty and Extreme NSA — vendor-independent, with OEM AP replacements from our own warehouse, SLA up to 24×7×4. Complete AP family: AP3000/AP4000/AP5000 series (current Wi-Fi 6/6E generation) and AP3xx/AP4xx (Wi-Fi 5/Wi-Fi 6, older generation still productive). 30 to 60 percent below Extreme NSA.
Which ExtremeWireless models we service
ExtremeWireless covers the entire Wi-Fi spectrum: current AP3000/AP4000/AP5000 series with Wi-Fi 6/6E (2.4/5/6 GHz, OFDMA, MU-MIMO, higher throughput) and older AP3xx/AP4xx generation with Wi-Fi 5/Wi-Fi 6 (still dominant in DACH legacy customers). Management runs via ExtremeCloud IQ — the cloud platform is software subscription, runs independently of hardware maintenance.
Why TPM maintenance for ExtremeWireless
Wireless maintenance scales linearly with AP count — multi-site deployments with 200-1,000+ APs drive Extreme NSA quickly into five- to six-figure amounts per year. For large campus setups (universities, hospitals, logistics sites), APs are critical infrastructure, but the hardware layer (single-box AP, simple architecture) makes TPM particularly economical. AP replacement is simple: defective AP is exchanged, ExtremeCloud IQ automatically configures the new AP after onboarding. TPM reduces maintenance terms to 40-50 percent.
We service ExtremeWireless APs with OEM AP replacements from our own warehouse. AP3000/AP4000/AP5000 series is current hardware (2022+), AP3xx/AP4xx generation is the most common in DACH legacy customers. ExtremeCloud IQ subscription runs independently of hardware maintenance — wireless management, firmware updates and cloud analytics stay active. For larger multi-site deployments we coordinate AP replacements with ExtremeCloud IQ onboarding for minimal service outage time.
